Eva Halaxová became a patent attorney and a European patent and trademark attorney in 2002. She deals with the solution of the strategy of intellectual property protection of the client's company in general, the strategy of trademarks and patent protection, estimation of benefits, costs, possibilities and risks. Eva focuses on litigation and enforcement of intellectual property rights. In the field of protection of inventions and technical solutions, it focuses on foreign protection of intellectual property, especially the European patent and international patent applications.
Eva is a graduate of biophysics and chemical physics at the Faculty of Science, Palacký University in Olomouc and the field of international relations in industrial property at the Metropolitan University of Prague. In addition to academic and legal academic education, she completed a two-year specialization at the Institute of Industrial Law Protection at the Industrial Property Office in Prague, a two-year European Patent Law at Robert Schumann University in Strasbourg, trained at the European Patent Office Train the Trainers in Munich and completed an internship at LSC Vancouver . Eva regularly participates in international conferences and educational seminars in the field of intellectual property.
Eva is a member of the Disputes Committee of the Council of the European Patent Institute EPI. In cooperation with EPI, as part of a project to revise the European Patent Convention, it developed an education system for the Czech Republic. Eva is a member of the international professional organizations AIPPI, LES, INTA and FICPI. In addition to Czech, he works and is fluent in English and Spanish. In her free time Eva enjoys running with her dog.
