Patents and Trademark office

The TETRAPAT patent and trademark office was founded in 1990 by RNDr. Zdeněk Halaxová according to the then recent law on patent attorneys. First in Olomouc, since 2003 also in Prague. Since then, we have become a family business, where five members of our family work so far. All our people have many years of experience, appropriate education, technical, scientific and legal education. We are based in Prague 5 in Jinonická and in Olomouc in Ztracená. In the vast majority of cases, we work for our clients for a long time.

Qualifications of Czech and European patent attorneys and European trademark attorneys

The members of the Office are qualified and registered European patent attorneys and European trademark attorneys. In the Czech Republic, our members are fully qualified patent attorneys, ie not only in the field of trademarks and industrial designs, but also in the field of patents and utility models. We represent with state administration bodies, especially the Industrial Property Office, the police and the customs administration, as well as before all courts of the Czech Republic. We represent the European Patent Office EPO based in Munich, the European Union Intellectual Property Office EUIPO based in Alicante and the Office of the World Intellectual Property Organization WIPO in Geneva.

Foreign patents, trademarks and designs

We provide patents, utility models, trademarks and design protection through a network of cooperating foreign colleagues in every country in the world, and through long-term active membership in international professional organizations, we provide up-to-date information and legal advice on all matters relating to patenting and trademark protection on an international scale.

Patents and trademarks in Prague and Olomouc

We have offices in Prague and Olomouc. We provide all the agenda, including advice, by telephone and electronically and respond flexibly, including the client's urgent requests in the case when he needs a quick trademark registration or other submission.
